Question of the Day August 5, 2016 After the NECC outbreak, the compounding industry pointed the finger at the FDA and said it wasn't doing its job. Now many in the compounding industry say maybe the FDA should focus on drug manufacturers instead of compounders. Are compounders sending mixed messages? Compounders claim that should be regulated by states, but some continue to ship many of their compounded drugs in interstate commerce? Another mixed message? Why or why not?
