Question of the Day January 26, 2016 On the one hand compounding pharmacies have charged outragerous prices making huge profits for their compounded medications as seen in the Tricare fraud scandal, but now they claim they are the solution to out-of-control prescription drugs and can make them cheaper. What are the dangers to the public of allowing compounded drugs to be the cheaper alternative? What are the advantages other than cost?
