Question of the Day January 7, 2015 Since the first veterinary pharmacy residency was established by at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and three otheer Colleges of Veterinary Medicine have established residency programs how many total students have completed these residency programs? How many are now practicing veterinary pharmacy? Are there other experts in the field of veterinary pharmacy who took electives or created their own "residency" programs who are equally capable? Does the AVMA and other related organizations keep list of these qualified experts so that consumers who wish to do business with those who have the credentials can do so? Readers who know of those who have completed the residencies (and are practicing veterinary pharmacists) please feel free to post their names for veterinarians and consumers.
