Question of the Day January 22, 2015 How many compounding pharmacies that were on the FDA list of registered outsourcing facilities who are no longer on the list declined to pay the fees and stay on the list under a belief that the DQSA will be amended or "fixed" in 2015? How many will re-register if there are not enough votes for this fix? How many additional compounders will register if Congress indicates they are not pleased with the number who voluntarily registered and indicate they will made the system mandatory? If it were changed to a mandatory system, how many compounders would reduce what and the number of compounds to comply with 503A in order to avoid violating the law?
