Fifth Question of the Day October 21, 2014 Are compounding sales representatives really going to start calling themselves "medical consultants"? How do compoundng pharmacists feel about that? How do others in the health care profession think about it? Have all the legal liability ramifications been explored? How much liablity insurance are these "health consultants" going to carry for when they make a mistake? Are state boards of pharmacy going to have to adopt or amend current rules and regulations regarding selling compounded medications? Are veterinary sale reps also going to be known as animal health consultants? What do the veterinarians think of this?
