Producing drugs in quantities greater than expected orders is NOT "anticipatory compounding", it is MANUFACTURING. NuVision Pharmacy regularly sends out an email blast of "overstock items" (i.e., they manufactured them without having patient-specific prescriptions, nor having past orders to justify producing these compounds, and now are stuck with them expiring). Plain and simple, they are a manufacturer in a pharmacy's clothing. Whether Boards of Pharmacy will do anything about it, is another matter ...
