OSBP vs. OK Compounding, LLC., #2-6161 – Case No. 1268:
The Board was called to order by President Dudley to hear the case of OK Compounding.
Attorney Barry Smith was present as representative for the Respondent.
Assistant Attorney General Brinda White presented the Board with the Complaint for review.
The Respondent was charged with multiple violations of state and federal regulation and rules including filling or refilling a prescription for a dangerous drug without the authorization of a practitioner.
Ms. White then presented the Board with an Agreed Order. If the Board accepts the Agreed
Order the Respondent would agree to the following: The Respondent would admit to guilt on Count 5181. The Respondent neither admits nor denies guilt on the remaining counts. The Respondent is placed on probation for three (3) year until April 16, 2017. During this time, the Respondent is ineligible to be a training area. They can reapply to be a training area after April 16, 2017. The
Respondent agrees to pay a fine of $3,000.00 on Count 5181 and $100.00 on each of Counts 1-5172. The Respondent shall cease business operations and fill no prescriptions for five (5) full days before July 21, 2014.
Motion was made by Dr. Jim Spoon and seconded by Dr. Greg Adams to accept the Agreed
Order. Motion passed on roll call vote.
