Question of the Day July 3, 2014 How can it be legal to give out compounded preparation/medication/drug samples if they are required to be patient specific? Wouldn't the main reason to give a doctor a sample fo compounded preparation be to get them to prescribe these to for their patients rather than commerically available drugs? How does non patient specific compounded pain creams and gels not violate the state and federal rules and regulations and fly in the face of getting around the requirements for new drugs?
