Arkansas Board of Pharmacy Examining physician ownership or financial agreements relating to pain creams as discussed as March 2014 Board Meeting

Dr. Kirtley discussed the physician ownership or financial agreement that seems to be a

trend in Compounding pharmacies that are compounding non-sterile pain creams.

Some of these creams are very high dollar and have the propensity for fraudulent

claims. Staff will continue to verify ownership and financial partnerships of these

pharmacies.
