Question of the Day May 21, 2014 If Congress does not adequately fund the FDA and give them the resources to inspect compounding pharmacies that are manufacturing or are registered outsourcing facilities then it will fall to the state boards of pharmacy to inspect and enforce the rules. However, most states (although there are some exceptions) have not done a good job of regulating compounding pharmacies. What will it take to get the states to enforce the rules and regulations that they have? Why do more state not impose tougher fines and use this as a way to collect revenue for the state?
