NECC, Tenn. Reach $5M Deal Over Meningitis Outbreak
The trustee for now-bankrupt New England Compounding Pharmacy Inc., which was linked to a fatal meningitis outbreak, agreed Monday to give the Tennessee Department of Health $5 million in unsecured claims to end administrative proceedings against the company claiming it had violated state pharmacy laws leading up to the outbreak.
