Roundtable Discussion – Identifying and
Responding to Medical-Product Associated
Illness Outbreaks (Focus on Pharmacy
Compounding)
Panelists will lead an interactive discussion on
recent developments in pharmacy compounding,
including how CDC and FDA have worked together
to respond to contaminated product. Panelists will
also discuss the future of pharmacy compounding
and agency roles in finding and responding to
product quality problems and their collaboration on
investigating outbreaks of illness connected to
medical products.
