Third Question of the Day November 12, 2013 About 7,500 pharmacies in the United States specialize in compounding (many thousands more perform a small amount of compounding while also dispensing traditional prescription drugs). Compounded drugs account for an estimated 3 percent of all prescriptions filled.

Did anybody have any idea there were that many pharmacies specializing in compounding?  That is the number of known compounding pharmacies.  How many more internet, unregistered compounding pharmacies do you think there are?  Do you the think the numbers will go up or down if the DQSA is passed.  According to PCCA's survey and other compounders it will go down...way down and consumer won't have access to the medications they need. Does anybody really believe this?
