Thank goodness. If they allowed the -1:8 pharmacist to pharmacy tech ratio (as chain pharmacies such as Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Medco wanted), then a pharmacist would have had the Hobson's Choice of:
(1) work here under unsafe conditions where you are required to supervise techs filling prescriptions even though you do not have time to supervise them properly; or
(2) you're fired. We'll find someone else who doesn't care about quality control.
