Update: Dr. Mark W. Sturdy d/b/a Rochester Veterinary Clinic v. Lowlite Investments, Inc., d/b/a Olympia Pharmacy Has Been Dismissed

What do you think? Was he paid off to settle out of court? (settle for less than the cost of defense)? Some people, perhaps this veterinarian, realize that filing complaints with licensing boards is a fruitless effort, so they resort to civil complaints charging Deceptive and Unfair Business Practices. Rather than spending $$$ in legal fees, the pharmacy might have agreed not to spam doctors and vets with unsolicited faxes in the future, as well as paying off the plaintiff and his lawyers' fees. Yes. My best guess is that is what happened.  I think pharmacy agreed ...well probably ...not to spam any doctors vets in future but just Dr. Mark W. Sturdy and the Rochester Veterinary Clinic.  Sue
