What do you think? Was he paid off to settle out of court? (settle for
less than the cost of defense)?
Some people, perhaps this veterinarian, realize that filing complaints
with licensing boards is a fruitless effort, so they resort to civil
complaints charging Deceptive and Unfair Business Practices. Rather than
spending $$$ in legal fees, the pharmacy might have agreed not to spam
doctors and vets with unsolicited faxes in the future, as well as paying
off the plaintiff and his lawyers' fees.

Yes. My best guess is that is what happened. I think pharmacy agreed ...well probably ...not to spam any doctors vets in future but just Dr. Mark W. Sturdy and the Rochester Veterinary Clinic. Sue
