One newspaper article provides the following:
The NECC website before it was shut down said the company sends samples from final medicine batches to an FDA-registered lab for sterility and other testing. A spokesman for a lab called Eagle Analytical Services in Houston confirmed it did testing for NECC but said it stopped in late 2008 or 2009. An official from another lab, Analytical Research Laboratories in Oklahoma City, which NECC has said tested samples from its vials before shipment, declined to comment, citing the investigations.
