Update: Senate Compounding Vote Delayed - Bill Limits Availability of Compounded Drugs for Doctors
Here’s the latest on what many think is a dangerous bill.
Just before Congress left for its summer recess, there was a push for a vote on S.959, the compounding bill we’ve been telling you about. Thankfully, AHN-USA’s opposition helped prevent the vote! As we reported in July, the bill grew from its original 50 pages long to a whopping 189 pages—and it still could be a threat to practitioners and their patients.
Congress is returning on September 9. We still need to get our messages to the Senate; we especially need messages from practitioners.
