What a Great Quote from Senator Mikulski: "Today one to three percent of the U.S. prescription drug market is made up of compounded drugs. A majority of pharmacists compound medicines for patients and nearly every hospital compounds drugs. These drugs and the hospitals and pharmacies that make them serve an important role for patients that need personalized drugs to meet a medical need. "The problem is that where there is need, there is greed. Compounded drugs are supposed to be made on an individual basis for an individual patient, and provided only with a prescription from a doctor.
