Pharmaceutical Compounding Quality and Accountability Act--legislation as introduced and summary
I can not agree that compouned drugs should go thru the new drug application process. By invoking that rule, you are - in fact - denying the patient their medication. I certainly hope you are not the one with a newborn family member who needs enalapril in a liquid form. Would you prefer that the baby just die?
I do not understand this proposed legislation to effective the type if traditional compounding you are referring to. Have you read the exception in the proposed legislation?
