The Blog passed the 60,000 view mark somewhere in the middle of the night. It is, as mentioned before viewed by people in over 80 countries. I have been fortune enough to meet many experts in the field of compounding through the blog. I have received helpful tips, scoops, and ideas. You, the readers, have made wonderful comments about blog post. We have educated and continue to educate on the importance of compounding in both the human and veterinary world, but along with that importance comes a responsibility to do things right, ensuring the safety of patients and not causing a public health risk. States have changed rules and regulations and some are still in the process. States have enacted legislation, and some is still pending. Federal legislation was drafted last term. Hearings were held. Ideas have and continue to be exchanged, hopefully, with the idea of making the compounding world, . But to the readers of the blog I just want to say thank you. we haven't quite hit the one year anniversary of the blog--we are a couple of weeks short--but boy what an eventful year it has been. The work is not done. There are more ideas to exchanges, more discussions to occur, and more differences to make. Let's continue to work together to find the right solutions to make the compounding world a better, safer place for all.
