With the latest recall at Woburn Compounding Pharmacy being added to the list has the sky fallen on the compounding world and is it time to admit that the states have not and cannot adequately regulate compounding pharmacies and that it is time for Congress to give the FDA the necessary tools it needs to do the job at least as far as the bigger compounders or is there still a possibility that the states can ramp up investigations and enforcement and get the compounding issue under control. Should the FDA still just be given primary jurisdiction over those compounders deemed to be "manufacturing"?
