American Veterinary Medical Law Association Annual Conference to discuss Compound Issues

The 19th Annual Conference of the American Veterinary Medical and Legal Association will be presenting a session on Compounding Issues on August 5th at the 2012 conference in San Diego, which is the same location as the AVMA yearly conference.

10:10 to 11:00 am Fairness to Pet Owners Act: The Future of Veterinary Prescription Laws presented by Ashley Shelton Morgan, DVM
The Fairness to Pet Owners Act of 2011 would federally mandate prescription writing every time you prescribe a drug for a small animal. Learn more about what AVMA is doing and learn what steps you must take to stop this bill from passing.
