Senators have teamed up to request an evaluation of state medical boards. This bipartisan effort was initiated at the end of February 2012 when Senators Charles Grassley R-Iowa , Orrin Hatch R-Utah and Max Baucus D-Mont. sent a letter to the director of the Office of the Inspector General OIG for the Department of Health and Human Services HHS.
